Where insight meets practical change

This photo is of one of the places I feel most grounded and the most myself, my cottage in Ontario. That sense of warmth, authenticity, and honesty is something I try to bring into my work as a therapist. Therapy with me is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you better understand yourself while building practical tools for change.

I help adults with:

  • Anxiety & overthinking

  • Burnout & work stress

  • Low self-esteem & confidence

  • Relationship challenges

  • Life transitions

Registered Clinical Counsellor

I’m a psychotherapist based in North Vancouver, supporting individuals navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I have a particular interest in working with men experiencing confidence issues, family or interpersonal conflict, in addition to those moving through major transitions such as career changes or life events like weddings.

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth, blending humour with practical strategies to help clients feel grounded, supported, and gently challenged. I offer individual in-person counselling in North Vancouver and Downtown Vancouver. I also offer individual counselling online, connecting with clients across Mount Pleasant, Kitsilano, East Vancouver, Sunshine Coast, Northern BC and the rest of the Lower Mainland.

Questions?

  • I value authenticity, humour, and honesty above all else, and incorporate these pillars into my work of providing emotional and practical support.

  • You can book a free consultation with me so we can chat briefly and see if we are a good fit!

  • You can reach me through email at aileegilron@agtherapy.ca, through the contact form, or through psychology today.

  • Once we have decided to work together, I ask that you fill out an intake form. Our first session is then guided by this intake form, where we expand on the questions and answers provided to create a solid foundation to start from. We will clarify your therapeutic goals, and decide where you would like to begin.

  • Yes! I can direct bill to Pacific Blue Cross, SunLife, and any company under Telus Health.

  • A lot of collaboration, laughs, practical support, and integrating changes, no matter how small. I show up as my authentic self for every client, and I encourage the same from them. Swearing, crying, and joking are all also encouraged!

  • 24 hours notice is required to cancel appointments, so that there is enough time to offer your spot to someone else. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged for the full session rate.
